Your knowledge, in files you own
One folder per company on the server. Plain Markdown and the originals you uploaded. Nothing else.
One folder, one company
The folder is created at mode 0700. A process from another company cannot read it.
Files that open in any editor
Standard Markdown and your original PDF, DOCX and images. Taking your information out means copying a directory.
Backed up every day
The backup points at the folder, because the index and the graph can be rebuilt from it. Copies are kept for 14 days.
A personal note stays personal
The company owner does not open it either. Sharing a file only ever adds access; it never removes it.
